Life Lessons Taught By Golf…
I was watching a kid learning from his father
the other day, from the First Tee, holding a
club too big for his hands, standing on the
practice tee while his dad quietly stood
behind him. He didn’t say much. He didn’t
need to. He let his young son figure
things out. He let the game teach his son,
patience, resilience, and respect — and when
he hit one straight, the way his eyes lit up was
better than any trophy for his dad watching.

This past weekend, in May through June 1,
2025, the Memorial Golf Tournament is held in
Dublin, Ohio. The Founder of the tournament
is Jack Nicklaus, one of the greatest golfers to
ever play the game. The tournament every
year honors someone, always a golfer until
this year with placement on the Hall of Fame
